Why is the sacrifice performed outside Gaza, and how is it delivered?

Due to the siege and lack of livestock inside, slaughtering is conducted in certified facilities outside Palestine. The meat is then canned using advanced technology to ensure quality and preservation without refrigeration (due to electricity outages) and entered via official aid convoys for direct distribution.

Is canned Qurban Sharia-compliant?

Yes, it is Sharia-compliant according to scholars when there is a clear benefit or necessity, as is the case in Gaza. We strictly adhere to all Sharia requirements regarding the age, type, and health of the animal, and slaughtering occurs exclusively during the blessed days of Tashreeq.

How are beneficiary families selected?

We maintain an updated database in coordination with our field teams. Priority is given to displaced families in tents, orphans, widows, and families who have lost their breadwinner, ensuring nutritional protein reaches those in most desperate need.

How is the distribution documented for donors?

Transparency is our core principle. All stages of the project (slaughtering, canning, and distribution) are documented through periodic photo and video reports published on our official accounts and sent to donors to keep you at the heart of the impact you've made.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, Ejabh is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States. Your donations are tax-deductible by law, and you will receive an official donation receipt via email for your tax records.
